A modular wooden structure designed by Burning Man artist Gregg Fleishman, Solar Stage is made for climbing and exploring. The central gathering point in The Fields comes alive twice a day: at sunset, a celebratory soundtrack brings people together. At sunrise, Wonderers observe the revitalising ritual of welcoming a new day.
Bring Solar Stage home to your environment with a 1:8 scale replica of the satellite pods, rendered in to-scale plywood and ready to assemble without tools or fastenings, like its full-scale brother.
55 pieces of laser-cut 3-ply birch/rubber wood forming a pod 34cm x 34cm x 55cm when assembled.
We produce these puzzles in batches, and ship out 14-20 days after order.
Features
Among the many incredible features of Gregg Fleishman’s architectural designs, is the unique way that their geometric forms support themselves without the need for screws, fasteners, or foundations. This model is the same. Slot the pieces together, and you’re done.
Using birchwood plywood sheets, sourced and laser cut in Thailand, the Solar Stage pod model keeps resource waste to a minimum and transport emissions low. The whole package is lightweight, flat-pack, and takes up as little space as possible.
Solar Stage is an icon of Wonderfruit, if there ever was one. This limited edition replica is your chance to not only bring Solar Stage to your home, but to make sure that Solar Stage can return to The Fields in its full, interlocking glory in the future.
